Sean Paul Hurley, age 30, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Monday January 7, 2019.

Born in Salem, Sean was the beloved son of John and Diane (Donahue) Hurley of Peabody.

Sean leaves the love of his life, Erlene McLaughlin, his fiancé and their two young children, Abigail Grace

and Sean Paul Jr.

Sean was raised and educated in Peabody, and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans’

Memorial High School, class of 2006. Sean was currently working for APC Deliveries while

attending classes at New England Tractor Trailer School.

Sean had a special gift with people. He struggled for many years with drug addiction. Because

of this, Sean frequently helped others who were going through rehabilitation and recovery from

substance abuse themselves. He played an instrumental role in the lives of others, always

available in a time of need. Sean was an active member of Narcotics Anonymous. Sean’s

greatest joy came from spending time with his family and close friends. He will be deeply

missed for his love and warmth. We have been truly blessed to have Sean in our lives.

Sean was the devoted brother to two sisters, Erin Tremblay of Peabody and Lauren Cook and her

husband Danny of Lynn. Sean was loved like a brother by his nieces and nephews; Briana, Devin and his

wife Mary (Dixon), Brendan and Cameron Tremblay, Julia McManus and Olivia Cook. He was the

grandson of Barbara Casey of Lynnfield. Sean will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended

family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Bernice Hurley, Matthew

Donahue and Ruth Wolverton all of Lynn and his brother-in-law Greg Tremblay.
