Albert J Matusiak, Jr, 71, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Thursday February 2, 2023, at his home. Born in Oakland, CA, he was the son of the late Albert J Matusiak, Sr and Charolette G (Swann) Matusiak.

Albert was raised and educated in Peabody. He was employed in the housekeeping department at Salem hospital and was working in the Dye Room for a local machine shop before retiring years ago.

He enjoyed fishing, holiday gatherings and he especially loved doing fireworks for friends and family on the Fourth of July.

Albert is survived by his three children, Scott Matusiak, Jennifer Matusiak, and Carrie Richard, all of Borger, TX, his brother, Kenneth Matusiak and sister Diane Curley, both of Peabody, his niece and nephew, Christopher and Lynn Gravel and by his former wife, Ethel Oatman, all of TX, and is also survived by his nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Heather Norton.
Funeral services will be held privately.
