Mr Fred. I just found out from Sue via email. Even though I never met you in person, I will always have a fond memory of our interactions via telephone and email. I hope the buggy brought great excitement to you, Sue and Ally and I know it was your prized possession along with your Harley. I know you will be smiling down as your Granddaughter gets her license and has the coolest car in town! May you rest well Sir. Dax, your buggy friend in AZ.

Fred was a close friend and will be dearly missed in my life. We enjoyed daily walks, talks and laughs together, spotting great wildlife along our paths. We once walked 15 miles in a snow squall! Fred and I had many common interests like attending classic car and motorcycle shows, flea markets, bicycling, growing hot peppers, lively games of backgammon etc. My wife and I looked forward to his deliveries of his famous apple pies, barbecue sauce, hungarian peppers and more. Fred was so generous with his time supporting me in many of my projects. I'm so grateful for the time we spent together and for his emerging faith. There will always be a special place in my heart for him. I hope to see your smiling face in heaven someday, my friend! Bill Dawson

I worked with Fred at the old Salem Harbor Generating Station, we always worked as a team, and you were always ready to jump in and help out, making it so much easier to get the job done. Carol and I were both so happy to be able to reconnect with you down on the boardwalk IN NBPT. RIP my friend, you'll be greatly missed. Love, thoughts and prayers to Sue and family.

Rest in peace Fred. Will always remember working the night shifts with you and sitting on the benches while you sat on your rock by the harbor. I can still hear your laugh usually at my expense! may your family find peace as well.
