Obituary For Andrew D Sinclair

Andrew David Sinclair, 44, of Hyannis and formerly of Lynnfield, MA, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at home. Andrew was the cherished son of Pauline Maravelias. She and her husband Peter reside in Wakefield, MA and Sarasota, Florida. He was also the son of David Sinclair of Alaska. Andrew leaves many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Andrew was born at Lynn Hospital and lived the first 14 months of his life in Peabody at which time the family moved to Lynnfield where he grew up. Andrew loved living in Lynnfield, always playing with his friends, exploring, riding bikes, and going fishing at the various ponds and lakes around town.

Andrew was educated in Lynnfield and North Shore Community College. Andrew had many interests in his recent years, studying yoga and meditation with devotion. His time living in Hyannis gave him time to explore the beaches and roads on his electric bike.

Andrew had a quick wit and loved to have a good time. He will be greatly missed.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, celebrated by a Greek Orthodox priest from St. Vasilios Church. Burial services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield immediately following. Andy Sinclair was one of my best childhood friends, we grew up together in Lynnfield. Sinclair was a part of almost all of my memories throughout my teenage years. I have great memories of us playing football together. We shared a great group of friends through our adolescence and teenage years. We would all get together and hangout out at each others homes and have fires together in the woods of Lynnfield and the infamous pit parties. There are so many memories. Walking the streets of Lynnfield and riding our bikes with friends through town and all the surrounding areas. Summertime we would get together with friends and ride our bikes down route 1 to Hawkes pond and all jump off the cliff there. Other great memories are jumping the train on the tracks behind the middle school back when the train still actually ran through town and riding it out to the "island". We would also walk out on the partridge island trail to the end and sit and talk about life. Figuring out those things you discover as a kid. It saddens me that we hadn't talked for a very long time but I know we had an everlasting bond from those times. My prayers and love go out to the entire family, I remember you all. Blessings to you all - Shawn McGee -
