Obituary For Ann Marie Cloutier

Ann Marie (Pelletier) Cloutier, 63, longtime resident of Salisbury and formerly of Salem and Lynn, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a month-long battle against Covid-19. Ann was the beloved wife of Robert C. Cloutier, with whom she shared over 34 years of marriage, and is the loving mother of their two daughters, Shannon and Amanda Cloutier.

Born in Boston, Ann is the daughter of Pauline J. (Pelletier) Sullivan of Salem, MA. Ann grew up in Lynn and is a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1976, and of Tech-Age Business School in Malden. She worked for many years at the Board of Regents of Higher Education in Boston and the Massachusetts College of Art, before starting her family.

Ann’s greatest joys were her family and motherhood. She loved all animals and especially, Ollie, her parakeet, and Scruffy, her schnauzer. She enjoyed the beach, playing bingo, listening to music on the local radio station, and enjoyed a good meal at the local restaurants. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Ann enjoyed camping with her family and was a member of the NAFCA camping community.

Ann was a very kind, generous and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and a very dear friend to many. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Besides her loving husband and daughters, she is survived by her mother, Pauline J. Sullivan, and her siblings, Patrick B. Sullivan, Colleen T. Sullivan, Daniel J. Sullivan, Elizabeth J. Sullivan-Dixon, and Francine M. Sullivan, and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Beatrice (Matton) Jaworski, and step grandfather, Stanley J. Jaworski, and uncle, Paul J. Pelletier of Omaha, Nebraska.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody. Dear Bob - I was very sorry to hear of Annie's passing. I enjoyed working with her at the Board of Regents in Boston and then seeing her again when our paths crossed in Salisbury. She was a lovely person. I extend my sincere condolences to you and your children, and the rest of Annie's extended family.

So sorry for your loss. Many good memories including meeting Ann and dancing at I believe it was called Bay Bridge on Bridge Street, . Our white mountain trip with roadside picnics, and listening to Joe's band. Another favorite memory is visiting her at the nursing home, playing games until 11pm. I set off the alarm to the door when I was leaving. I don't think the nursing home wanted me back! May she Rest In Peace. I pray your memories sustain you.
