Obituary For Artemice Kalivas

Peabody – Artemice (Xenos) Kalivas 92, beloved wife of the late George A. Kalivas, died Monday, December 20, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Andromache (Paisis) Xenos.

At the time of her marriage in 1948, she emigrated to the United States, settling in Peabody where she has since resided. She was a longtime member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody.

She is survived by her daughter, Stella D. Kalivas of Peabody, her son, Aristos G. Kalivas and his wife, Victoria of Peabody, three grandchildren, Anastasia Coil and her husband, Benjamin, Artemis and Athena. She was also the mother of the late Anastasia Dandaneau.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody, Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. A visiting hour will be held at the church prior to the service on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
