Goffstown, NH – Augustus Joseph Ventura 90, beloved husband of Krystyna (Cisto) Ventura of NH and the late Gloria Jean (Nardone), died Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation Center in Manchester, NH.

Born in Lynn on July 1, 1932, he was the son of the late Augustus and Bessie (Giancola) Ventura. He was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School.

An honorably discharged veteran, he enlisted at Camp LeJeune, NC and served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Marine Corp. Following his tour of duty, he married Gloria Jean Nardone in July of 1953.

Mr. Ventura had been employed for many years as a machinist for the General Electric Company, at its Riverworks Plant in Lynn until the time of his retirement. He had also owned and operated a machine shop in Stoneham.

In addition to his wife, Krystyna with whom he shared twenty-five years of marriage, he is survived by three daughters, Daureen C. Keirstead and her husband, Freeman, Jeanne Ventura and Patricia Medeiros and her husband, Eddie, a son, Michael Ventura and his wife, Jean, his step-children, Anna Hathaway and her husband, David, Michael Cisto and his wife, Judith and Robert Cisto and his wife, Leleth, four grandchildren, Thomas, Jenelle, Micayla and Joy, four great grandchildren, Paulina, Adeline, Bailee and Paisleigh, step-grandchildren, David Hathaway Jr and his, wife Marissa Hathaway, Rachel Cisto and Stephanie Cisto and many nieces and nephews. He was also the grandfather of the late Jason Anderson with whom he helped achieve many goals in his short life and brother of the late Margaret DeLesDenier.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
