Obituary For Barbara Burak

Barbara Burak, 96, of Lynnfield, MA, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 30, 2022. She was the devoted wife of the late, Joseph S. Burak. Barbara was born February 4, 1926, in Lynn, MA, the daughter of the late, Walter and Blanche (Klimkowska) Lukaszewski. She was employed for 10 years as a Coil Winder at General Electric. She was an avid gardner and enjoyed time with family and friends. Barbara is survived by two children, Gary Burak of Merrimac, MA and Diane Burak of Lynnfield, MA. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Christopher and Megan Burak and brother, Henry Lukaski. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Burak, and three sisters, Nora Smolski, Celia Pisiak and Leona Sobutka. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attended visiting hours, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Conway, Cahill – Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Saint Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St, Peabody, MA. Burial will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery in Salem, MA.
