Obituary For Brett M Bingham

Brett M Bingham, 51, of Seabrook, NH, passed away Thursday January 27, 2022, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Melrose, he was the son of Wayne B Bingham, Jr and Beverly A (Beard) Bingham. He was raised and educated in Marblehead and was a graduate of Marblehead High School, class of 1988. He continued his education and received his Chemical Engineering degree from UMASS Lowell. Brett was a Regional Sales Director for over thirty years in the greater Boston area.

As a kid he spent much time on the ocean in Marblehead and visiting his friends on Lake Winnipesauke. In his recent years he enjoyed going to the beach and boating, and volunteering at many food kitchens in the local area. Brett was the life of every party, accepted all as friends, and was truly loved by all.

Besides his loving parents, Brett is survived by his two children Brant and McKenna Bingham and their mother Michelle Bingham, all of Rye, NH, his siblings, Beth Salamida of Salem, W. Scott and his wife Kerry Bingham of Naples, FL, Brian Bingham of Beverly, Brenda and her husband David Mackey of Salem and by his twin, Bonnie and her husband Gary Maguire of Wakefield. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Benjamin and his wife Jaqueline Bingham, Hannah Bingham, Jake, Nick, Brooke, Meghan, and Sean Salamida, and Connor and Morgan Mackey.

Following cremation, visiting hours will be held this Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM followed by his Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. I met Brett move-in day the fall of 1988 when we were assigned to a quad in Bourgeois Hall. We became instant friends and remained roommates all four years right up to graduation. He certainly made life interesting and oh the times we had! Although we went our separate ways after college, when we reconnected throughout the years it was like no time had passed at all. The conversation picked right up just where it left off. That's the sign of true friendship. I was honored to be his friend.

There are no words for the passing of Brett. Perhaps "inconceivable " or " surreal" would be accurate. We are so incredibly sorry to learn of Brett's passing. Brett was such a fun cousin, so warm and outgoing. I loved meeting up with Brett at our family events, he was such a great conversationalist, and always so much fun to chat with. Praying for all of the Bingham family, may you find some peace🙏. There is now an angel in heaven watching over all of you. Love, Jen & Sue

Brett was that kind of giving person that was a friend to everyone the minute you met him! I was his cousin and enjoyed him for him! I just can't imagine that his spirit will no longer be shared by those lucky enough to call him family, or friend! Brett you will be missed. To the entire Bingham family condolences are but what I can offer, I sincerely wish it was not so! God bless you and support you as you grieve Brett's loss.

Brett will be remembered as a great person, that would light up a conversation with anyone at anytime, which is a true gift. His passion for life and connecting was contagious. I have known Brett since elementary school and his passing is such a startling reminder of how short this life is. I am very saddened with his passing and offer my sincerest condolences to his family.

To the Bingham family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Brett worked with me a few years back and was a true pleasure. His positive attitude and willingness to do what it takes made him very special. I loved visiting the area and seeing his home. He definitely loved his children and bragged about them and all their accomplishments. Please know I am praying for all of you during these hard times. Dwayne Tharp

It is difficult to hear of Brett's passing. While many years have passed since our days at Marblehead High School, those memories are burnt in, and remain very special. Wrestling was fun, and his positive attitude and encouraging spirit were always displayed by him to others. While not much is remembered these days, Brett is always remembered in good light. Sincere condolences to his entire family. No words can describe the loss. Know, appreciate, and take the support of others at this time. Brett was a good man. May his memory be a blessing.
