Obituary For Carl Paul Reppucci

Carl P. Reppucci, 90, of Peabody, passed away Saturday afternoon August 7, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Marchand) Reppucci, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Carl was born in Revere, MA on April 19, 1931, son of the late Michael and Lena (DeMarco) Reppucci. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for M.I.T Lincoln Lab for 35 years. He loved playing piano professionally and listening to jazz. In his early years he was in the US Air Force and received a letter of commendation for music. Besides his loving wife, Carol, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Carl M. & Elisa Reppucci of North Andover, Diane C. & Theodore Argentieri of Needham; his grandchildren, Carl T. Reppucci and Aryana K. Reppucci; his siblings, Thomas Reppucci of Revere, Barbara Houghton of Chelsea. Services for Carl will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to All Care VNA & Hospice Development Office, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01901.

Carl, Joe, and I have been great friends since high school, over 75 years ago! Where have the years gone? So many memories, too numerous to count. We were so envious of Carl when he found his beautiful and loving wife and mother of his children, Carol, who he adored. Music was one of the threads that kept us all together. The joy and laughter we shared will live in so many hearts forever. Carl and I also shared 3 years in the service, stationed in Germany together. Joe has so many wonderful memories of his friendship with Carl there's not enough space to contain them!! Here's a couple; when they were young boys Carl would say, "Let's go over to my house and I will make a BIG thing of pancakes!" Another favorite is on the way to a gig one night they saw a older couple being bullied by 2 men in another car. Joe says, " Hey, why don't you guys pick on someone your own age...." so they did and headed for Joe and Carl's car. Joe then yells to Carl , "Get the PIPE!" Carl reaches for the imaginary pipe underneath the seat.... and the men bolted away!! Another happy ending! The Best Is Yet To Come....Love, Joe Guarente
