Obituary For Carol Ann Gauthier

Carol Ann (Drinkwater) Gauthier, 77 of Danvers and formerly of Peabody, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023, surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Cherished wife of 27 years to her husband, Dr. Leonard Gauthier.

Loving mother of Ronald Tashjian, Jr. and his wife Heather of Lexington, Amy Harrington and her husband Keith of Roslindale, Danielle Moore and her husband Robert of Candia, New Hampshire. Adored grandmother of Will, Caroline, Regina, Nicholas, Jordan, Nathan, Ailey, and Conlan.

Beloved sister of Lawrence Drinkwater and his wife Karen and Lisa Cantalupo. Carol was predeceased by her sister Dianne Pellegrini and daughter Nicole Ramsdell.

Carol will be remembered by all for her love and compassion towards her family and friends. Carol’s faith was a significant part of her life and she was an active member of Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield, MA. Her strength and commitment to her faith was unwavering and brought her and her family significant comfort in her final days.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 am on Friday, October 20th, at Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove Street, Lynnfield. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody on Thursday, October 19th, from 4-7pm. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove St., Lynnfield, MA 01940 or by texting “CalvaryGiving” to 97000.

Carol was one of the loveliest people I have ever been privileged to know and call my friend. Her beautiful smile will be deeply missed by those of us who knew and loved her here in our Maple Leaf Community in Florida. She was, for me personally, one of my strongest spiritual supports during my cancer diagnosis and surgery. I wish I could hug her one more time.
