I'm very sad to learn about Dan's passing. I took care of him and his brother Gene at Camp Lion in the 70s and it brings back a lot of fond memories.

Well I have known Danny for his entire life. I would spend most of my weekends taking care of Dianne, Gene & Danny while their parents would go out. Never minded it at all! Would bathe them & wash their hair. Give them some fruit & hold them until they went to sleep. Would make breakfast, lunch & dinner for them & take them for a few walks. When Sunday came around I would take them to church at St. Anthony (of course bringing them some snacks to eat). We would walk up the street to get ice cream if they were good in church, All l can say is that l wouldn't change anything for the world...because they were my world...

I didn't know Danny like most people did. I meet him when he came down for the yearly Myrtle Beach golf week. That was many years ago and seems like a life time ago. Shawn Camito is my cousin, and he and I set up this yearly trip with all the guys from up there. He was a great guy and oh my God FUNNY. The memories i have with him and all the guys will never be forgotten. He always had a great big smile on him when he would mention his family, he spoke very highly of them. He will be greatly missed. Geno, me and my family's prayers go out to you and your family. Much love.
