David Michael Molligi (AKA Magic) passed away peacefully in his home on Monday April 17,2023. David was born on January 2, 1959, in Beverly Mass. He resided in Peabody most of his life. He worked at H. Paulino Regional Waste Company for 10 years in Peabody, he also worked at the Sea Witch, in Peabody for 15 years, and for many years on and off with his brother John and sister Ramona in construction until he retired. David was a skilled laborer in Masonry and lobstering, he worked on several tuna boats and lobster boats in his younger days in Gloucester. He had a love for the sea and fishing. He enjoyed the outdoors, and he had a passion for wolves and nature.He leaves behind his daughter Alisha Molligi and her partner Paul Noto, his two grandchildren, Olivia Noto and Damien Noto, his ex-wife Lisa DiBona of Salem with whom he remained friends with, his sister Nancy Molligi and her partner Gerardo Rosario of Maine, Teresa Guertin Molligi and her partner Carl Clark of Maine, Ramona Molligi of Maine, Arthur Molligi of Connecticut, John Molligi of Maine, Laura Gagnon and her husband Michael Gagnon of New Hampshire, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Gail Danforth Molligi and Michael H. Molligi.Visiting hours will be held on Friday April 28, 2023, at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. His Funeral Service will be on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 8 North St, Salem, MA 01970. A memorial trust fund has been set up for David’s grandchildren, Olivia and Damien at the Eastern Bank, C/O the Noto children, 60 Washington St, 2nd Floor, Peabody, MA 01960-5915.
