Obituary For Elizabeth A. Cremens
Chelmsford – Elizabeth A. Cremens 78, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born, raised and educated in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McDonald) Cremens.
A resident of Cambridge for most of her life and the past seven years in Chelmsford, Elizabeth dedicated her life to raising her family. She was also a member of the Commission for the Blind. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving her are two daughters, Margaret Janis of Somerville and Kelly Barbarisi and her husband, Robert of New Durham, NH, three sons, Robert M. Janis and his fiancé, Trisha of Chelmsford, Joseph Janis of Portsmouth, NH and James Janis and his wife, Dorothy of Mesa, AZ, several grandchildren, a great granddaughter, a sister, Judy McGahey and Lawrence of Peabody, a brother, James Cremens and his wife, Patricia of Ayer and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Carol Wyman and sister of the late Agnes Cremens, Diane Cremens, Joan Farrell, Peggy Andrews, Eileen Gross and Joseph Cremens Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Conway Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
