A very special thank you to a wonderful woman who Elvira thought of as her own daughter, her nurse for the past 6 years, Maria Bellini, who tirelessly and passionately came every day and helped care for Elvira. Oh Granma you have left a huge hole in all of our hearts. I will forever cherish the moments we had together even at the end when you didn't feel very well I would walk into your bedroom and you would give me that beautiful smile and you would say my name in that accent of yours that just melted my heart every time! We had so many laughs and amazing conversations that I will never forget. I love you immensely and always will. I wish you were still here with us but I know you are no longer in pain and are now with your Mom, Husband and Jose which you have missed terribly for many years now. Charlie I have never seen anyone stop their life for the past 5 years to take care of his Mom the way that you did! You need to be very proud of yourself for it was the most unselfish act you have ever done and she loved you deeply for all you did for her, which was everything!!!! I know the end wasn't any where near the way you wanted for her to go but that was totally out of your control and I hope one day you will realize just how great of a son that you truly were! FLY HIGH - FOREVER LOVED - FOREVER MISSED
