She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic Mazzio with whom she spent 62 years of marriage until his passing in 2021 just shy of his 95th birthday.

She was born in Boston on June 12, 1931 and was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Rose (DiLucia) Mastrocola.

Florence spent her childhood in East Boston and was a 1948 graduate of East Boston High School. Before her marriage, she was employed in office positions in the Boston area. Florence married Dominic in 1959 and started a family in East Boston. Florence and her young family moved to Revere in 1966 and then to Peabody in 1972. Florence enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, dining out, travelling, and watching TV.

Florence is survived by her son, Robert Mazzio and his wife Kathleen of West Dennis; her daughter, Paula Mazzio of Peabody and many nieces and nephews.

Sadly, in addition to her parents and husband, Florence was predeceased by her siblings, Frank and John Mangino, Rosemarie DellaCroce and Mary Sciacca.
