Obituary For Gary A Roltsch

Gary A Roltsch, 70, of Peabody, died Wednesday January 19, 2022, at the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody following a lengthy illness. He was the devoted husband of the late Nina Marie (Kravchuk) Roltsch with whom he shared over 40 years of marriage.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Arthur and Marian (Jermyn) Roltsch. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody Vocational High School, class of 1970.

Gary was in the construction business for over 35 years as a self-employed contractor who worked throughout the North Shore.

Gary was a standout athlete in high school and was a member of the 1969 Peabody High School State Championship football team. He was later inducted into the Peabody High School Football Hall of Fame in November 2021. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling to various golf destinations, and he loved his dogs.

Gary is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Christine Roltsch of Wakefield, his daughter and son-in-law, Melanee and Daniel Collins of Peabody, his two sisters, Rosemary Lebel of Groveland, and Faye Seth of Peabody, and is also survived by his beloved five grandchildren, Jordyn, Cameron, and Derek Collins, and Jessica and Mark Sutherland and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held privately with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
