Grace (Milliken) Currie, age 95, of Peabody, passed away peacefully at the Rosewood Rehab and Nursing Center in West Peabody on Tuesday March 7th. Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Doherty) Milliken of Lynn.

Grace was Catholic and was educated in Lynn Schools. She worked for many years at the GE plants in West Lynn and Wilmington. After retiring from GE, she worked for several years at H&R Block in Saugus.

Grace was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth R Currie. Grace and Ken, formerly of Lynn, moved to Peabody 17 years ago. They enjoyed dining and dancing and vacationing in Florida with their family. Grace loved to shop and especially loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Grace is survived by her son Glenn R Currie of Florida, her daughter Pamela Rogers and her husband Thomas of Peabody, her grandchildren, Glenn R Currie, Jr and his wife Katherine, Shannon Phillips, Katie Currie, James Currie and his wife Stacey, Jeff Rogers and his wife Kellie, Kevin Rogers and his wife Erin and Greg Rogers and his wife Stefanie. 11 great grandchildren, Alex, Cecelia and Brenna Currie, Zachary Phillips, Reese Currie and Raegan, Aaron, Dylan, Aubrey, Ainsley and Colton Rogers, and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Grace was predeceased by her sisters, Louise Roy, Dorothy Deary and Josephine Milliken, her brothers Charles Milliken and Henry Milliken and her daughter-in-law, Diane Currie.
Grace will be sadly missed and remembered fondly by her loving family.

At the request of the family, funeral services were held privately.
