Gregory A. Diminture, 67, of St. Cloud Florida, formerly of Peabody, MA died peacefully surrounded by his family on August 5, 2023. He was born in Peabody on October 30, 1955 and was the son of the late John & Anastasia Diminture.

Greg was one of 7 children. He is survived by his sister Eve and husband Dr. Frederick (Ted) Carrick of Cocoa FL, brother John and wife Yuan Diminture of St. Cloud FL, his sister Helene and her late husband John Rogers of St. Augustine, FL, his sister Stacey and husband James Yavorski of Georgetown, MA, his sister Stephanie and husband James Warren of Peabody, MA, and his brother Thomas and wife Lisa Diminture of San Antonio, TX. He was a proud uncle to Tricia (Carrick) Antonucci, the late James Carrick, Stacy Diminture, Alexis (Rogers) Silva, John & Thomas Rogers, Sophia, Bryant & Vanessa Yavorski, Alaina (Warren) Smith, Michael Warren, Anthony, Nicholas, Troy, Thomas, Dylan, & Sierra Diminture. He is also survived by his good friend Somsak Prakobkit, 15 great nieces and nephews and his former wife Cynthia (Hubbard) Dadd.

He was raised in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School class of 1973. He was a member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody and had been active in their choir.

Gregory had a passion for music, especially singing. He was involved in many theatre groups and performances in past years. He cherished his family and found time to check- in to stay updated on each and everyone’s lives. Gregory had a heart of gold and was caring and compassionate. He enjoyed cooking and baking had been caretaker to his mother, prior to her passing.

His funeral will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 9AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St. Peabody to which friends and family are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2PM to 5PM. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gregory’s memory to St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St Peabody, MA 01960.
