Obituary For Heidi Evelyn LaVoie
Heidi Evelyn LaVoie, 57, of Peabody, died Saturday morning surrounded by her loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a courageous battle against cancer.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Louis B. LaVoie of Peabody and the late Kathleen L. (Kallelis) LaBelle.
Heidi was self-employed providing cleaning services for the elderly. She was an avid sports fan of all of Boston’s sports teams, especially the Red Sox. She also enjoyed camping, cooking, listening to music and spending quality time with her family and friends.
In addition to her father, Heidi is survived by her four children, Naomi LaVoie of Peabody, Anthony J Barbara of Key West, FL, Christine Alves of Peabody and Lily LaVoie of Yulee, FL, her siblings, Louis LaVoie of Peabody, Kathleen Townsend of Yulee, FL, Terri Elwell of Swampscott, Timothy Doughty of Brentwood, NH, Dennis LaVoie and Dawn (LaVoie) Morey. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Isabella, Arianna, Cameron, and Zachary, her Uncle Bernard and Aunt Naomi Kallelis of Peabody, many nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend, Penny Plante of Peabody.
Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Funeral Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in her name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA 01923.
