It took me a moment to find the words to express my heartache with the loss of my lovey Helen. When I met her granddaughters Shannon and Shayla in first grade, she quickly became an extremely important person in my life. She always let us play, have sleepovers most weekends for my childhood, and spoiled us rotten with Friendly's ride or nights out to Cheesecake Factory. As we got older, we stayed close, and she taught us Majiion and always made us laugh at her house. We then began to realize what she taught us along the way; Kindness. Compassion. Drive. And most of all, how to be a loving person; her family was her world, and I got to see the soul deep love she had for her little angels in particular. She had a smile and warmth that was unmatched and those traits are exemplified in those she has left behind. Helen, thank you for being a grandmother to me, and laughing with me, and loving me for the last 15 years. I love you just as deeply and am so grateful I was able to have you in my life for the time I did. You are a light I will never forget. I already miss you so much and will always hold you close to my heart. The world is not the same without you and I will carry you with me on all I do. To Shannon, Shayla, Joyce, Joe, and Alex: I am deeply sorry for your loss. I am praying for you all in this difficult time and am sending all of my love. I will always be here for you all.

Helen loved to go out to eat so my husband Hank ,myself , and Helen would go out to different restaurants every Saturday and every Saturday it was her birthday (or that's what I would tell them) and she would laugh until the end of the meal and dessert came with a candle in it ,the ice cream Sunday was perfect to end the meal I will miss our Saturday night dinners and your birthday surprise RIP my Best Friend I love and miss you more than you know 💔💔💔

We met Helen when she and my Dad ( Dick Seger) were at the same rehabilitation place. She quickly became a wonderful friend!! Our friendship lasted over the years... after my dad had passed away. She was someone that you instantly loved... at least we did!! She will be missed a great deal...😥😥 Barbara DuLong

God bless you Auntie Helen. I remember as a kid going to the house and how funny you would be your laugh was beautiful but as you would say fabulous. Last time we spoke I was reminding you of when I slept up there and how uncle Joe woke me up that morning. He stepped on Mugsy and oh what a way to wake up. You will always be missed and now you are gone to heaven to be with your best friend and husband. As we miss you down here I am sure that uncle Joe is standing at the gates waiting with a smile. I fondly remember growing up in Massachusetts and sharing the love that my mother had for my dearly departed Aunt Helen, along many memorable family gatherings at the holidays. You shared your home and you love of family with all of us, and took such pride in your children and especially your grandchildren. May your rest in peace with God as you reunite with Uncle Joe who has been waiting for you for so many years.

God took beautiful Helen from us because He needs her cheerful laughter in Heaven. I shall never forget those happy moments playing mahjong with her and laughing all night long! Growing up my nana, Mary Stella, lived a few houses down the street from Helen and her granddaughters Shannon and Shay. We would visit all the time especially during the summer and go for swims in the pool. I will never forget the smile Helen constantly had stretching from ear to ear across her face. Her laugh was infectious. My Nana cherished there friendship greatly and would be so sad to hear of her passing. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. I'm so sorry for your loss. Helen was an amazing woman and one who was always worried about how others were doing. She was so kind, caring, giving and loving towards anyone she interacted with. Her laugh had always made me smile and I can still hear it. What a lovely lady she was. Joyce, Shannon and Shayla and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers. I have known Helen for close to two years since I have been with Shannon, and in that short time she was the most joyful, positive, loving, and funniest person I have ever met in my life. She always loved spending time with friends and family more than anything and helped raise both Shannon and Shayla to become the wonderful girls they are today. She was always so kind and welcoming towards me each time I saw her. I shared many great times and lots of laughs with her. She will be greatly missed forever. My prayers go out to her and her entire family and they all have my dearest condolensces.

I just want to say that I really liked Aunt Helen. We shared many happy phone calls over the years and I will miss her warm and happy voice during these calls.
