Jean R. Bertrand, 68 of Everett, MA passed away peacefully, Saturday September 17, 2022, at Pilgrim Rehabilitation in Peabody, MA. He was the devoted of the husband of Paulette (Etienne) Bertrand. Jean was born February 9, 1954, in Port–au–Prince, Haiti the son of the late Hirem and Rose (Turene) Bertrand.

He was raised and educated in Haiti immigrating to Massachusetts in the early 1980s. Jean was employed as an Environmental Services Technician with Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Boston for several years. He was a family man with a strong faith who enjoyed reading, nature and spending time with family. Jean loved taking walks, listening to music and collecting records. He will be dearly remembered and missed by those who loved him.

Jean is survived by his devoted wife, Paulette, two daughters, Kesha and Giovannie and grandson, Jace A. Johnson. He also leaves behind three sisters, Mirelle Bertrand, Ghislene Bertrand and Yvrose Bertrand. His nephews Johnny Carrelus, Jeff Dorilas, and Marvin Joseph.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours, Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 9:00-11:00 AM at The Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. A service will be held immediately following at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, MA.
