Obituary of Jeannette O. O'Shea

Candia, NH – Jeannette O. (Deziel) O’Shea, 103, formerly of Peabody & Danvers, wife of the late John Thomas O’Shea, died Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Courville Assisted Living Center in New Hampshire. Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Leda (Cote) Deziel. A resident of New Hampshire for the past fifteen years, prior to that she had resided in West Yarmouth, Danvers, and Peabody. Mrs. O’Shea was an accomplished organ teacher, having taught students throughout Massachusetts for many years. She was also an avid knitter. Surviving her are two sons, Roger “Pete” O’Shea and his wife, Jessie of Andover and Dennis O’Shea and his wife, Nancy of Candia, NH, five grandchildren, Kevin O’Shea, Michael O’Shea, Timothy O’Shea, Kelly Dortona and Peter O’Shea, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also the grandmother of the late Shawn O’Shea, USMC.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Friday, April 9, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 Margin St., Peabody, Saturday, April 10th at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
