Obituary For Jeffrey J. Seaman

Jeffery J. Seaman of Beverly, son of the late Kenneth and Anita Seaman, passed away on August 20th, 2021 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jeanne (Quinn) Seaman of Beverly, his son, Patrick Seaman of Beverly, his daughter Katie and son-in-law Nate Pitcher of Rowley, and his grandchildren Amelia and James who will carry on his memory to the next generation. He also leaves behind his brother, Tim Seaman and his wife, Joan, of Peabody, sister-in-law Anne Oldmixon and her husband Don of Attleboro, brother-in-law Kevin Quinn and his wife Helene of Wakefield, sister-in-law MaryEllen Widberg and her husband Jeff of Peabody, and his many nieces and nephews who he loved so very much.

Jeff was born in Rochester, NH and raised in Peabody, MA. Jeff met Jeanne in high school. After graduating in 1975, Jeff joined the U.S. Armed Forces and was stationed in Germany. Jeff and Jeanne married in 1980 and eventually moved to Beverly to raise their family.

Jeff enjoyed a lengthy career in construction as a project superintendent, and continued to work while battling his illness.

The most important things in Jeff’s life were his family, friends and boating. He loved seeing his daughter play sports, get married and have children of her own. He loved spending time with his grandchildren who knew him as “Papa”. He was always busy with projects outside of work, and even traveled to California to help his son build a home of his own. Jeff was always proud of his son’s world travels and loved to share his pictures and stories with family and friends.

Jeff would want everyone to enjoy life and not be sad about his passing. To honor his wishes, we hope that those that knew Jeff will share all the great stories and memories they have of him.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 25, from 9:00A.M. to 12:00P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 12:00P.M.

Seaman Family— We are so sorry to hear of this huge loss. Jeff will be remembered fondly. We will donate to the foundation listed in honor of his memory. My favorite memories will always be Kennebunkport trips and backyard BBQs. Love, Jamie Gumm and Family

Dear Jeanne and children, It is so sad to hear about Jeff - he fought so hard. He was a gentle soul - an Earth Angel and now an Angel in Heaven. Remember, Jeff will always be with you ~ that's what angels do! Our thought's and prayers are with you. We love you. Cousin Jeri and Eddie
