Jennifer “Joie” Arguropoulos, passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 94. She is survived by George Arguropoulos, her devoted husband of 64 years. Born in Lynn, Jennifer was the daughter of the late Peter Psarros and Victoria (Coursanis) Psarros. In 1963 Jennifer moved to her beloved home in Peabody where she raised her daughters and enjoyed the rest of her years. Joie was very family oriented and enjoyed hosting cookouts and Sunday tea. She loved clothes and was an amazing bargain shopper. Joie taught her daughters and granddaughter to be strong independent women. Her favorite motto was “Be a leader, not a follower.” Jennifer is survived by her daughters: Elene Arguropoulos of Auburn, NH, Diane Jones and husband Douglas of Marblehead. She was the devoted Yiayia of Audrey Deanna Jones of Marblehead. Also survived by her brother Charles Psarros of Lynn and Mae Konis of Beverly, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jennifer’s favorite charity St Jude Children’s Hospital. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Monday, December 5, 2022, from 4-7 PM at The Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 81 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960. A funeral service will be held, Tuesday at 12:00 PM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 54 S Common St, Lynn, MA 01902. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
