John F. MacGillivray of Peabody, passed away on Monday, January 24th, 2022 in his home after a two and a half year battle with cancer. He was 86 years old. He was the beloved husband of Barbara MacGillivray of 39 years.

John was born in Boston, the son of the late Alexander and Mary (Brady) MacGillivray. He was a machinist by trade and served in the United States Air Force prior to a 21 year career at General Electric in Lynn. He also owned and operated Park Products, a custom machine shop in Revere for 20 years.

Besides his wife Barbara, John is survived by his only child, Beth McKenna and her husband, Keith McKenna of Salem, MA.

Visiting hours will be from 2-6pm on Sunday, January 30th at Conway Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, MA 01960.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 31st at 10:30am at St. Adelaide’s church, 712 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA 01960. Interment at Puritan Lawn Peabody to follow.
