John (Ioannis) A Hantzopoulos, of West Peabody, passed away on Friday, July 15th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease that ended unexpectedly. He was the devoted husband of Vasiliki (Athanasopoulos) Hantzopoulos.

John is survived by his two sons, Andreas and Kendra and Peter Hantzopoulos and his daughter Olympia and her husband George Vamvouklis, all of Peabody. He is a proud grandfather “Papou” of Dimitrios & Yianni Vamvouklis and Stefanos Hantzopoulos along with many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 54 So Common St, Lynn followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
