Obituary For John "Jack" Waron

John “Jack” Waron of Beverly, formally of Peabody, passed away peacefully on Monday December 27, 2021, after a 2-year battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Patricia A. (O’Donnell) Waron with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Travis J. and his wife Debra, granddaughters Amelia and Charlotte; Jason C. and his wife Richelle, grandson Emmett; special son Jeffrey S. Douglas and his children Jakob and Hannah. He is also survived by his sister Carol Trayers and nieces Cathie Trayers-Mislan and Laurie Trayers.

Jack worked at the former Eastman Gelatine in Peabody for 25 years, and at the Salem News in Beverly. He had many interests and loved spending time coaching youth soccer. He served for 25 years on the Board of Directors of Essex County Youth Soccer and was passionate about creating a safe and fun soccer experience. His contributions were celebrated when he was elected to the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Hall of Fame on December 3rd, 2000.

A true family man, Jack cherished spending time with his family at various amusement parks and at Lake Winnipesaukee. Jack adored his grandchildren and loved watching them play sports. Among his many hobbies, Jack enjoyed collecting trains and coins, watching sports, listening to music, and riding his Harley Davidson. Jack had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He was the best listener, always supported others, and was perpetually honest. Jack Waron will forever be missed for his genuine, heart-felt support of his loved ones.

Family and friends are asked to gather on Sunday May 15, 2022, from 11:00 AM– 11:30 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody.
