John Klanfer of Beverly, formerly of Salem and Marblehead, passed away unexpectedly, January 22nd.

He was the son of the late, Karl Klanfer and Step Mother, Herta (Schaffer) of Marblehead.

John loved the outdoors, walking with his children in the Marblehead Sanctuary, when they were very young. In his younger days, he enjoyed weight lifting, and martial arts.
He especially loved seeing his grandson.

He is survived by his two sons, Ian Klanfer of Beverly, Derek Klanfer and his fiancee, Aurora Grabill of Newton.
His beloved grandson, Caeden J. Klanfer of Bradford, MA.
His former wife, Marianne (Maynard) Klanfer of Worcester.
His very dear friend, Ann Baccari of Wenham, MA.
He is pre-deceased by his daughter, Aja T. Klanfer, formerly of Marblehead and Salem.
He also leaves behind many nieces, and nephews.
