Obituary For John S. Capone

John S. Capone, 81, of Peabody, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at The Atrium at Veronica Drive in Danvers. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Castiello) Capone with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in Winthrop, he was the son of the late John Vincent and Bertha Nancy (Mastrain) Capone. John was raised and educated in Revere and graduated from Revere High School, class of 1958.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country from 1958 to 1962 as a member of the United States Navy.

John continued his education at Northeastern University, where he received a degree in Engineering. He worked at IBM for many years as a Systems Engineer.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Susan Capone-Revoy and her husband Richard Revoy of Salem, and Karalyn Capone and her partner Gabriel Donnelly of Cedar Park, Texas, his brother, Joseph Capone and his wife, Elaine, his sister, Jill Gaudet and her husband, Steve of Lynn, his brother-in-law, Thomas Castiello and his wife, Gina, and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements: His funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, on Monday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923, https://www.caredimensions.org, https://giving.caredimensions.org.
