Obituary For Joseph E Doucette, Jr

Joseph E. Doucette, Jr, 90, beloved husband of Elisa (DeFilippo) Doucette, died Tuesday, August 30. 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Joseph E. Sr. and Margaret (Robicheau) Doucette.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Army. Mr. Doucette was an entrepreneur have owned and operated several businesses over the years, until the time of his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Trina Valente and her husband, Paul of Wilmington and Renee Rucci and her husband, William “Bill” of Cape Neddick, Maine, two sons, Michael Doucette and his wife, Sheryl of Danvers and Keith Doucette and his wife, Rosemary “Terri” of Peabody, thirteen grandchildren, Ashley, Alexandra “Sqeek”, Haley, Shelby Doucette, Dillion Doucette Andrew, Tommy, Travis, Tyler, Jesse, James Valente, Nicholas Rucci and Erica (Rucci) Johnstone, five great grandchildren, Gianni and Lorenzo Valente, Layla and Callum Johnstone and Maddie Doucette. He is also survived by his sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Doucette and his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” of Malden.

Funeral services will be held privately.

    Well brother in law, you were a huge part of my life. As a youngster -58 years ago and in later years a friend.
