Peabody – Joseph M. Pinto Jr., 90, died Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Jose M. and Yvonne (Denault) Pinto. He was raised in Peabody and attended the Beverly School for the Deaf.

Mr. Pinto had been employed for many years as a chef at Salem Hospital until the time of his retirement.

A dedicated and faithful servant, Joe as an active member of St. Ann’s Church in Peabody.

He is survived by his brother, Anthony Pinto of Lynnfield and many nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors including Linda Hebert and her husband, Tom and their children, Brianna and Chad all of Peabody.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held from the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Masks are required in church. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
