Mr. Joseph Gaudet, 80, of Peabody died peacefully on Sunday April 30, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Carol Gaudet, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Yvon and Beatrice (Bonin) Gaudet. He attended St. Jean the Baptiste School. Mr. Gaudet retired from the General Electric after 37 years.

Joseph is survived by 2 sons, Paul and his wife Marian of Salem, Arthur and his wife Terri of Oelwein, Iowa, a granddaughter Brittany, three great grandchildren, Myha, Kayson, Brentley, his brothers, Raymond of Methuen, John, Richard, Guy all of Lynn, Mark of Peabody and his sisters, Sister Theresa of Pittsfield, Rosalie and Elaine, both of Lynn, Joan of Florida and Joanne of Lynn. He was predeceased by his brother Leo of Texas.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Funeral and burial services will be private.
