Beverly - Joy M. "Peggy" (Mueller) Moore 98, beloved wife of the late Fred E. Moore, and mother of the late Pamela E. King-Scheid died Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Beverly Hospital.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Brown) Mueller. Peggy was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She devoted her life to caring for several generations of her family. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her family. In addition, she enjoyed traveling, cardinals, lighthouses and the family dogs.

Peggy had a pure heart and was always able to see the joy in the world around her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving her are two grandchildren, Amy Marques and her husband, Tony of Salem and Jason King of Beverly, two great granddaughters, Victoria and Gabriella Marques both of Salem, her son-in-law, John P. Scheid of Beverly, her niece and nephew, Kathy and Ken Halter of Chicago, IL and her dear friend Evelyn Aleshire of Elgin, IL. She was also the sister of the late William "Billy" Mueller and Patricia "Pat" Halter.
