Juan Carlos Espinal, Sr, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Monday December 20, 2021, while working for Eastern Propane.

Born in Salem, he was the son of Pedro Mirabal and Dulce Espinal of Peabody. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1997. He has lived in Peabody for the past 3 years.

Juan was a delivery driver for many years, first for National Grid for 13 years and then for JRM Hauling and Recycling. He has spent the last two months delivering natural gas for Eastern Propane.

Besides his loving parents, Juan is survived by his sons, Tyler Espinal and Kyle Espinal, both of Peabody, Ricky Valenzuela, Juan Carlos Espinal, Jr., Ellian Espinal and Carlos Gabriel Espinal, all of Salem, his daughter, Natalia Espinal of Peabody, his spouse Julissa Betances, his two brothers, Ivan Soñe of Salem and David Mirabal of Peabody, his sister, Tania Soñe of Salem, and is also survived by many other family and friends.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
