Obituary For Kerri A. Actis

Kerri A. Actis, 41, of New York and formerly of Peabody, died on Saturday September 18, 2021. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Paul Actis of Florida and Margaret “Peggie” (Bowen) Actis of Danvers.

Kerri was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School, class of 1998.

While living in Peabody, Kerri enjoyed working various jobs throughout the North Shore before moving to New York 16 years ago. Kerri had a love of music, dance, and art. She was a talented artist who drew in all kinds of media and took many lessons to hone her craft. She started dancing at the age of 3 and danced for several studios on the North Shore and participated in many dance recitals at Lynn City Hall until the age of 18. She also enjoyed playing softball and cheerleading for the Peabody Pop Warner Football team as well.

Besides her loving mother and father, Kerri is survived by her daughter Jasmine Kitchen of Rowley, her twin brother Craig Actis of NH and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by her Funeral Service at 4:00 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private. The family request that all attendees to wear facial covering.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to in her name to either the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) P.O. Box 49104, Baltimore, MD 21297 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
