Obituary For Kim Connors

Kim Connors, 61, of Peabody, died early Friday morning surrounded by her loving family at her home following a brief illness. Born in Peabody, she was the beloved daughter of the late Gene and Marilyn J. (Jermyn) Connors.

Kim was a pharmacy technician at Beverly Hospital for ten years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and her favorite endeavor was spending time with her family.

Kim is survived by her daughter Amy Wood and her partner Sandra Lawton of Peabody, her brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Rosemary Connors of Peabody, her sister, Deborah Connors of Beverly, her “bonus daughter” Lisa Elliott and her partner Zack Fellows of Middleton, her nieces and nephews, Casey Connors, Catherine and her husband Eddie Tyre, and Willie Connors, her long-time friend Richard Wood of Peabody, and by her grand dogs, Griffin and Phyllis and by many dear cousins and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her nephew Joshua Krisko and brother-in-law, Freddie Marquez.

Following cremation, a Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 PM noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970.

  • I am so sorry to hear this news. Kim and I went to elementary and junior high school together. Our childhood friends are extra special- so many shared experiences during our most formative years. My sincere condolences to everyone who loved Kim.

  • I was saddened to hear of this news. I have fond memories of us as children and growing up in the same neighborhood. Kim had a kind heart and genuine soul.
