Obituary For Koco Cika

Peabody – Koco Cika 77, beloved husband of Leni (Curri) Cika, died Thursday, November 2, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Labovë e Kryqit, Albania, he was the son of the late Lipe and Varvara (Luzi) Cika.

Mr. Cika had been employed for over thirty-five years as a mason in Greece and Albania until the time of his retirement.

Mr. Cika emigrated to the United States in 2006, settling in Peabody where he was a hard worker around the house especially with the landscaping and gardening. Koco was also a member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Varvara Gjini and her husband, Genci of Peabody, two sons, Roland Cika and his wife, Leda of Peabody and Robert Cika and his wife, Leonora of Hooksett, NH, five grandchildren with whom he loved so much, Niko, Helen, Anna, Livia and Konstantina and a sister, Emily Kristo of Germany.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody, Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
