Obituary For Konstantinos "Kosta" Siasios

Peabody – Konstantinos “Kosta” Siasios 93, beloved husband of Xanthi (Krygiopoulos) Siasios, died Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Ritini, Katerini, Greece on June 16, 1929, he was the son of the late Athanasios and Eleni (Liapis) Siasios. He emigrated to the United States in 1969 with his beloved wife Xanthi and accompanied by their children shortly thereafter.

They settled in Massachusetts where he worked his whole life as a talented tailor. He enjoyed his years of traveling to Greece with his wife and family. He was kind, soft spoken and a great story teller. He loved his family with all of his heart. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Arthur Siasios and his wife, Stavroula, his daughters, Anastasia Pantazelos and her husband, Konstantinos and Maria Arena and her husband, Ernie, his grandchildren, Maria Metropoulos and her husband, Thanasi, Thanasi Pantazelos, Xanthi Nolan and her husband, Joseph, Sophia Pantazelos, Daniel Arena and his fiancé, Kelly Colbert, Dean Arena, Nicholas Arena and his great grandson, Niko Metropoulos and several nieces and nephews in Greece. He was also the brother of the late Stefanos, Ioannis and Demetrios Siasios.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody, Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Masks are recommended but optional. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody, MA 01960.
