She welcomed me with open arms and I grew fond of her extremely early on in our relationship. She was always so positive and supportive of me throughout the years. She was easy to talk to - always a sympathetic ear. We bonded over our love of family traditions and being mothers to boys. She'd regularly tell me that she never had to worry about her son, Jason - that she knew we were loyal partners. I miss her. Her absence was so sudden, and while I don't feel ready to say my goodbyes, I know how lucky I am to have known her for the limited amount of time that I did. I find solace in knowing her pain is at an end. We will continue to speak fondly of her and her grandson, Charlie, will know the truly special person that she was to us.

There are no words to describe how much I love you Lauren. You were and always will be, my 2nd mom. Thankfully my memories of you are endless. Talking for hours about everything in life either on the phone or at the kitchen table, trips to Rand pond every summer, our girls trips to Christmas tree shop, Salvation Army and of course, TJMAXX, countless summer days in the back yard with you poolside, you doing my makeup For prom and a million more memories where that came from! I will love you forever Lauren
