Louis Francis Perez, Sr., 86, of Peabody, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully at Rosewood Nursing Home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen Florence (Rahaim) Perez.

Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Alfredo Ugo and Orsola (DiPrato) Perez. He grew up in Manhattan, where he graduated from Haaren High School, and later moved to Brooklyn. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a corporal in the military police. Louis worked for many years as an ophthalmic technician at Eye Health Services where he gained many lifelong friends. He enjoyed visiting the beach and loved spending time on Cape Cod. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Louis is survived by his sons Al P. Perez and his wife Francesca of Peabody and Louis Perez, Jr. and his wife Janine of Arizona; and grandchildren Anthony, Michael, and Leanna of Peabody and Kaleb, Joshua, and Daniel of Arizona. He was the brother of Margaret, Ida, Marianne, Rocco, John, and Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving family members.
