Peabody – Marie R. (Butler) Leombruno 91, beloved wife of the late Louis Anthony Leombruno with whom she shared seventy years of marriage, died Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Beverly Hospital.

Born and raised in Watertown, she was the daughter of the late Paul Butler and Marie (O’Callaghan) Hafford and step-daughter of John Hafford.

A resident of Newton, Weston and South Dennis before moving to Peabody, Marie dedicated her life to raising her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are three daughters, Donna Leombruno and her partner, Steven Donnelly of North Truro, Joanne Pelsue and her husband, Kurt of Harpswell, ME and Maureen Boudrow of Peabody and son in law, Thomas Boudrow Sr., a son, Louie Leombruno and his wife, Rachael of Madison, CT, seven grandchildren, Jessica Morrissey and her husband, John, Katrina Pelsue, Kristen Perl and her husband, Michael, Thomas A. Boudrow Jr and his wife, Janessa, Matthew Leombruno, Lucas Leombruno and Owen Leombruno, three great grandchildren, John Patrick Morrissey, William Morrissey and Gemma Marie Perl, two sisters, Eileen Flynn and her husband, Kevin of Wayland and Elaine Oliveri and her husband, Richard of Newton, a brother, Robert Butler and his wife, Theresa of Waltham and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Jackie Butler and Paul Butler.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Brooksby Village Benevolent Care Fund, 200 Brooksby Village Drive, Peabody MA 01960.
