Marilyn (Martin) Crowley, 79, of Peabody, died Saturday December 11, 2021, at Beverly Hospital surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Edward G Crowley.

Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Gallant) Martin. She has lived throughout the North Shore and last resided in Peabody.

Marilyn was a teacher at South Church Day School in Peabody for many years before she retired. She enjoyed reading, especially Agatha Christie novels, and enjoyed visiting her family on Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Marilyn is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Edward and Kelley Crowley of Salem, and Stephen Crowley of Amesbury, her two daughters and son-in-law, Jill and Jay Paddol of Danvers, and Amy Crowley of Peabody, her brother, Robert (Bob) Martin, sister Eileen Crotty, niece Jennifer Crotty and by her six beloved grandchildren, Edward, Jack, and Dylan Crowley and, Maxwell, Emily, and Samuel Paddol. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Martin.

Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be announced at a later time. Arrangements were made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody.
