Obituary For Mark R Dion

Mark R Dion, 50, of Lynnfield, died unexpectedly Friday April 29, 2022. Born in Malden, he was the son of Marie S (Falzarano) Dion of Lynnfield and the late Raymond R. Dion. Mark was an avid sports fan and especially loved watching the Bruins and Red Sox, He enjoyed his bowling league on Tuesday nights and his favorite time of year was Christmas. He always walked in the annual American Cancer Society outing, and he also enjoyed maintaining his backyard and was very meticulous about his pool and the grounds around his home, he took immense pride in that. To my brother I can not believe I am writing these words on your obituary. It was not supposed to be like this. I still remember the day that Mom and Dad brought you home from the hospital...all 10+ pounds of you! You were the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and I was so happy to be your big sister. I vowed that I would always love and protect you until my last breath. I did not anticipate that God would call my little brother home before me. I asked God why he changed the plans but I get no answer. I guess it is not for me to know right now. Perhaps one day I will understand the greater plan. Until then, know that I have loved you all your life and you will live on forever in my heart until we meet again...your sister
