Mary L. Casey, 88, passed away at her daughter’s residence on Mother’s Day, following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Casey, who passed away in 1999. Mary was born in South Boston, daughter of the late Carl and Catherine (Foley) DeFranco. She had been a homemaker, tending to the needs of her children. She also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and knitting. She is survived by her children, Sean Casey, Colleen Pepe & her husband Nicholas; her grandchildren, Charles, Angelica, Catherine, Chas, and Bianca. Her funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 12, in St. John the Baptist Church, 17 Chestnut St., Peabody at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
