Obituary For MaryAnn E Waldron

MaryAnn E (Almeida) Waldron, 64, of Danvers, died Tuesday at the Beverly Hospital following a 7-year courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. She was the devoted wife of Richard Waldron with whom she shared over 39 years marriage.

Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary Ann (Tavares) Almeida. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, class of 1975.

MaryAnn worked for American Properties Team in Woburn as a condominium coordinator for 7 years before her retirement. Prior to that, she was employed for over 30 years at Holyoke Mutual Insurance company. Upon her retirement, she volunteered for two years for North Shore Elder Services.

MaryAnn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, going for car rides, reading, and crocheting. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband from Maine to South Carolina and many cities in between. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Patricia Waldron of Peabody, her daughter and son-in-law, LauraLee and Jack Ronan of Newburyport, her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Cheryl Almeida and Don and Barbara Almeida, her sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Robertson, her sister-in-law, Cindy Roy of AZ, her beloved two grandchildren, Melanie Waldron and Jackson Ronan, and by several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, James and Donna Almeida.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Attendees are not required to wear facial covering, however the family requests that facial covering be considered for those who are not fully vaccinated.
