Meryl Tsouvalas, 67, of Chelmsford and formerly of Peabody, died Wednesday February 16, at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Speros and Helen (Sampsonis) Tsouvalas. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, class of 1972.

Meryl was the Director of the medical equipment at Hologic.

Meryl enjoyed cooking and gardening, but she got the most enjoyment from being at the beach down the Cape.

Meryl is survived by her devoted sister, Evy (Tsouvalas) Quartarone of Derry, NH and by her loving nephew/Godson Spencer Quartarone. She was predeceased by her brother Johnnie Tsouvalas. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Bob Quartarone, as well as several aunts and cousins.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody followed by her graveside service at 12:30 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
