Obituary For Michael "Mickey" Lomelis

Danvers – Michael “Mickey” Lomelis 91, died Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Beverly Hospital. Born and raised in Peabody, he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Bik) Lomelis.

Mr. Lomelis had owned and operated General Leather Splitting Company in Peabody for many years until his retirement. Mickey had resided in Middleton for many years prior to moving to Danvers. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him are four daughters, Patricia Gregoire and her husband, Malcolm of NH, Judith Daniels and her partner, Bertil Lind of SC, Jeanne Lomelis of OR and Linda Higson and her husband, Ned of FL, four granddaughters, Heather Gregoire, Michelle Gregoire, Jessica Daniels and Melinda Mills Boughter, two grandsons, Justin Daniels and Ryan Mills, four great granddaughters and three great grandsons.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral services will be private. Expression of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 in his memory.     Mickey one of the smartest men I knew . I always remember Sam's and our stupid jokes Mickey says Drum ,Drum , Drum Ricky what the name of song I guess Drum no that's Bugle . I keep calling your number but Fred C Dobbs never answer the phone RIP you are final back in Middleton 1861 Marple street
