Danvers – Michael “Mickey” Lomelis 91, died Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Beverly Hospital. Born and raised in Peabody, he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Bik) Lomelis. Mr. Lomelis had owned and operated General Leather Splitting Company in Peabody for many years until his retirement. Mickey had resided in Middleton for many years prior to moving to Danvers. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.Surviving him are four daughters, Patricia Gregoire and her husband, Malcolm of NH, Judith Daniels and her partner, Bertil Lind of SC, Jeanne Lomelis of OR and Linda Higson and her husband, Ned of FL, four granddaughters, Heather Gregoire, Michelle Gregoire, Jessica Daniels and Melinda Mills Boughter, two grandsons, Justin Daniels and Ryan Mills, four great granddaughters and three great grandsons.
