Obituary For Minerva Urbino

Peabody – Minerva (Toribio) Urbino 86, beloved wife of Angel Urbino, died Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Ledgewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility in Beverly. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Rafael Acosta and Maria Esperanza (Toribio). She emigrated to the United States, arriving in New York in 1963 then moved to Peabody, MA in 1966 where she had since resided.

Mrs. Urbino had dedicated her life to the Gospel and the community. She was a devoted pastor's wife and pillar of her church community, “Torrente de Cedron” (Brook of Kindron Church). She was a virtuous women that practiced hospitality. She loved to cook, knit blankets for newborns, loved to sing and write songs. She had a delightful sense of humor and a big fan of the Boston Red Sox. Her love and compassion was felt by all those around her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Bridget Rosario and her husband, Nardo of Peabody, three grandchildren, Gamaliel, Joshua and Naomi Rosario, a brother, Enrique Toribio of Nashua, NH, four nieces, Reina Batista, Damaris Sosa, Hilcia Pellegrino and Loida Toribio, two nephews, Oscar David Toribio and Joel Toribio. ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, Thursday morning, April 7, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
