Danvers – Nancy A. (Allaire) Lynch 85, beloved wife of the late Willis “Bill” Lynch, died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Hathorne Hill Health Care Center in Danvers. Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Adele (Bartkus) Allaire.Mrs. Lynch had been employed for many years as a clerk for the United States Post Office until the time of her retirement.Following her retirement, she attended North Shore Community College where she proudly earned an associate’s degree in business marketing, earning A’s in all her classes.A resident of Peabody for over fifty-five years prior to moving to Danvers seven years ago, she loved to travel extensively, having visited six different continents. She and her husband Bill travelled in their RV to Alaska and spent the summer there for many years, becoming unofficial residents of Seward, Alaska. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.Surviving her are two daughters, Kathleen Rockenhauser and her husband, Michael of Hooksett, NH and Linda Lynch of Seward, Alaska, a son, Richard Lynch and his wife, Terry of Peabody, five grandchildren, Alicia Rockenhauser, Stephanie Lynch, Patrick Lynch, Carly Rockenhauser and Cody Rockenhauser, a great grandson, Henry Rockenhauser Cook. ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
